Windows FAQs
Double-pane windows have two layers of glass with an insulating space in between. Triple-pane windows have three layers, offering enhanced energy efficiency, noise reduction, and better insulation—ideal for colder climates.
Signs include drafts, condensation between panes, difficulty opening or closing, increased energy bills, or visible damage like rotting frames or cracked glass.
Low-E (low-emissivity) coatings are thin layers applied to glass that reflect heat and UV rays, helping to keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
We offer a variety including casement, awning, slider, single-hung, double-hung, picture, bay, and bow windows. Each has different functionality and aesthetic appeal.

No, windows are not one-size-fits-all. While there are common or “standard” sizes manufactured for new builds and basic replacements, many homes—especially older or custom-built ones—have non-standard or unique-sized window openings. That’s why most window companies, including ours, offer custom-sized windows to ensure a perfect fit.
A poor fit can lead to air leaks, reduced energy efficiency, and costly issues over time—so it’s always best to measure carefully and choose a window that matches your exact opening.
We provide precise measurements and custom ordering to ensure your windows fit your home, not the other way around.
